Quality Control
Throughout the engraving process video scanning equipment is used (magnification up to 2150x) to monitor cell dimension and surface finish, thus ensuring a repeatable product in terms of cell quality and surface finish. The surface of each roller is video graphed prior to chroming to qualify specification and to provide records for future repeatability.
After Chrome plating and polishing a rigorous final inspection is carried out to confirm all specifications have been achieved. Additional Videographs are produced and stored for future reference.
All in all MET impose comprehensive quality procedures to ensure the customer receives a high specification product that can be repeated at any future date.
